Pre-dance

• Leotard or dance dress: Light pink 

• Tights: Ballet pink, or no tights. If choosing to not wear tights then have white ballet socks

• Hair: neatly pulled away from the face in a ponytail, braid, or bun

• Shoes: Pink ballet shoes: no ties. Black velcro or buckle tap shoes

• Optional Extras: Pink ballet skirt, Pink ballet shrug/wrap

Primary Ballet I

• Leotard or dance dress: Light Purple

• Tights: Ballet pink, or no tights. If choosing to not wear tights please have white or ballet pink ballet socks

• Hair: pulled away from the face in a ponytail, braid, or bun

• Shoes: Pink ballet shoes no ties

Primary Jazz/Tap I

• Leotard: Light Purple

• Black Dance Shorts: No ties or sport shorts

• Tights: Skin-toned, or no tights. If choosing to not wear tights please have white or skin-toned dance socks.

• Hair: neatly pulled away from the face in a ponytail, braid, or bun

• Shoes: Skin-toned slip on Jazz Shoes, Black Buckle Tap shoes, no ties

• Optional Extras: Purple or white ballet shrug/wrap

Primary Ballet II

• Leotard or dance dress: Light Yellow

• Tights: Ballet pink, or no tights. If choosing to not wear tights please have white or ballet pink ballet socks

• Hair: pulled away from the face in a ponytail, braid, or bun

• Shoes Ballet: Pink ballet shoes no ties

• Optional Extras: yellow or white ballet skirt, yellow or white ballet shrug/wrap

Primary Jazz/Tap II

• Leotard: Light Yellow

• Black Dance Shorts: No ties or sport shorts

• Tights: Skin-toned, or no tights. If choosing to not wear tights please have white or skin-toned dance socks.

• Hair: neatly pulled away from the face in a ponytail, braid, or bun

• Shoes: Skin-toned slip on Jazz Shoes, Black Buckle Tap shoes, no ties

All Ballet classes from Grade I+

• Leotard: leotard colored according to grade level. Leotards may be any sleeve style, and they may have mesh or lace.

  • Grade I: White

  • Grade II: Light Blue

  • Grades V-VIII: Black

• Tights: Ballet pink, skin-toned, or no tights. If choosing to not wear tights please have ballet pink ballet socks

• Hair: in a neat ballet bun, or french twist

• Shoes: pink or skin-toned, stretch canvas ballet shoes. Our studios preferred shoe is the Capezio Hanami Ballet Shoe

Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theater

• Leotard: leotard colored according to grade level. Leotards may be any sleeve style, and they may have mesh or lace.

  • Grade I: White

  • Grade II: Light Blue

  • Grade III: Burgundy

  • Grade IV: Royal Blue

  • Grades V-VIII: Black

• Bottoms: Black dance shorts or black leggings. No sports shorts or shorts with ties

• Tights: Optional in skin-tone or black. If choosing to not wear tights please wear skin-toned or white dance socks.

• Hair: Neat ponytail, braid, or bun 

• Shoes for Jazz and Musical Theater: Canvas or leather skin-toned slip-on jazz shoes. No lace-up shoes

• Shoes for Tap: Black lace-up tap shoes.

• Shoes for lyrical and contemporary: Dancers may be barefoot. Or wear dance socks, pirouette classics, ballet shoes, or jazz shoes

Acrobatics

• Leotard: Any solid-colored leotard

• Black Dance Shorts are optional. Dancers may not wear loose fitting shorts, sports shorts, or shorts with ties

• Hair: Neat ponytail, braid, or bun

• Skin-toned Footless tights are optional

• No Shoes

Boys

Dance t-shirt or leotard, in the color matching their grade level or white. Black shorts, dance pants, or tights. Black dance shoes in the style of class taken. White socks may be worn under ballet shoes, jazz shoes, or tap shoes. If your child has long hair then it should be secured back.
